Tina Knowles is glowing — and not just because she’s Beyoncé’s mom. The 71-year-old star just let us in on a fun little family secret, and it’s so adorable!
In a recent Instagram video, Tina shared that her personal “beauty guru and manager” is none other than her super stylish granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Yes, that Blue Ivy — Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter and already a fashion icon at just 13!
Tina went straight to camera with a smile and said,
“My beauty guru and my manager, Miss Blue Ivy Carter, has instructed me that I need to dye my eyebrows because they have little gray streaks in them.”
Cut to: Tina sitting with jet-black eyebrow dye on her face. “Right now, I look like Dracula’s mama or something,” she joked, making everyone laugh online.
Then came the transformation — her brows went from spooky dark to the perfect soft brown, matching her blonde hair like a pro job. Who needs a salon when you’ve got Blue Ivy?
“Usually I have to get up and put eyeshadow in my brows,” Tina said, showing off the results.
“But look at these magical hands by the Blue Ivy Carter!”
She even pulled Blue’s hand into the camera to show off her bright blue manicure — very on-brand for the teen fashion queen.
Tina captioned her video:
“Happy Monday yesterday my granddaughter Blue Ivy told me that I needed to dye my eyebrows. They had a lot of little grey hairs in them, but I thought that the hair was missing. So she tinted them for me. I love them ❤️.”
It’s clear these two have the cutest bond — and great taste.
Even though Tina is full of wisdom, she recently said she doesn’t give much advice to Blue or Beyoncé. Why?
“Her and her mother are really tight and so they don’t need me to give much advice,” she told Jennifer Hudson in February. “They tell me to mind my business.”
Talk about a power trio! Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, and Tina Knowles are giving us glam and giggles.
