Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team is challenging federal charges against the music mogul, claiming that videos of alleged “freak off” encounters show consensual acts and accusing the prosecution of being “sexist and puritanical.”
In a recent court filing, Combs’ attorneys demand that the government release copies of the videos referenced in the indictment, asserting that there was no coercion, violence, or involvement of minors. They maintain that the encounters were private, consensual, and not as lurid as the prosecution claims.
Combs is facing serious charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution transportation following a September 2024 indictment, but has pleaded not guilty. His legal team disputes allegations of forced participation, asserting that the prosecution’s case perpetuates damaging stereotypes, particularly regarding women’s victimhood and lack of agency.
Currently in custody, Combs is awaiting trial in May after being denied bail due to concerns about witness tampering.
