Snoop Dogg is stepping up to help those affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. In his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on January 13, the 53-year-old rapper, who proudly represents L.A., commended the bravery of firefighters and highlighted the overwhelming sense of unity in the city during this crisis.
Snoop shared that, while his family is safe, others in his community have lost everything. He expressed his commitment to supporting those in need, saying, “We pulled our troops together, we represent, and we give them everything they need.”
The rapper also emphasized the importance of solidarity, noting that people are putting aside differences to help each other. “California is coming together,” Snoop said. “The world is helping us, and that’s the most important thing.”
As part of his efforts, Snoop is collecting donations at his Inglewood store and ensuring they reach those who need them. He also praised firefighters for their hard work, often unrecognized, and suggested a benefit concert to raise funds for fire victims.
Kimmel inquired about the possibility of a charity song, but Snoop focused on the concert idea, pledging that all proceeds would go to helping those affected by the fires.
