Lisa from BLACKPINK opened up about her first encounter with Justin Bieber, admitting she has one regret. In an interview with The Guardian on March 23, the 27-year-old revealed she met the “One Time” hitmaker years ago but didn’t express just how much she adored him. “I didn’t tell him how much I loved him because I’m too shy,” Lisa confessed.
The rapper and dancer also shared her connection to Bieber’s 2010 hit “Baby,” admitting it’s the one song she knows all the lyrics to. “I think everyone was a Bieber fan when they were young,” she said.
In the same interview, Lisa mentioned that her go-to party song is Rihanna‘s “Work,” a track she believes “lifts everyone’s feelings up.” She also revealed that, unlike Bieber, she did tell Rihanna how much she loves her when they met.
Recently, Lisa made history as the first K-pop artist to perform at the Oscars, taking the stage with Doja Cat and RAYE for a medley of James Bond songs. The star also dropped her debut solo album Alter Ego on February 28, featuring collaborations with artists like Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion.
