Fans have been buzzing for months, and now it’s official. The “Trance” rapper is headlining the festival, joining other hip-hop superstars like Future, Don Toliver, and Yeat.
Scheduled for June 20-22, 2025, the Summer Smash festival will take place at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. Young Thug will perform on Sunday, June 22, capping off the three-day event.

Young Thug, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, spent nearly two years behind bars from May 2022 to November 2024. His time in prison was due to charges related to his alleged involvement in the Young Slime Life (YSL) gang.
Despite facing serious legal issues, the rapper caught a break, pleading guilty and serving a shortened sentence. He returned home on probation, and now, he’s ready to celebrate his freedom with fans at Summer Smash.
The festival is shaping up to be a star-studded affair, with a lineup featuring the hottest names in the game. On Friday, June 20, Don Toliver and Yeat will open the festival. Saturday, June 21, belongs to Future.
Summer Smash co-founder Cole Bennett shared his excitement about the event. “I feel lucky to be able to throw the party of the year with my best friends,” he said. “May this be the best one yet. Lucky No. 7.”
Fans can expect Young Thug to deliver an electric performance as he takes the stage once again. His return to the spotlight has been highly anticipated, and this is sure to be a moment fans won’t forget.
