Travis Kelce is still the ultimate Swiftie, and he’s making sure everyone knows it! After leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a victory in their playoff game against the Houston Texans on January 18, the 35-year-old tight end made another sweet reference to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during his postgame interview.
When asked, “Are you feeling 25 again?” Kelce quickly responded with a playful nod to Swift’s hit song “22,” saying, “22, baby. 22.” The reference is a clear shout-out to Taylor’s iconic track from her Red album, and it’s not the first time Kelce has made such a gesture. Earlier this month, he joked on The Pat McAfee Show about feeling like he was “22” as he prepared for the playoffs, expressing his youthful energy.
In December 2024, Kelce gave Taylor a special “22” hat to celebrate the end of her record-breaking tour. The thoughtful gesture was a nod to a much-loved moment from Swift’s performances.
Meanwhile, Taylor, 35, was spotted at the game in a head-to-toe Chanel ensemble, radiating excitement as she greeted fans ahead of the match. “You guys are here early!” she enthusiastically exclaimed, clapping her hands. Swift’s family was also in attendance, donning red and gold to support the Chiefs.
Travis made a fashion statement of his own as he arrived at the stadium in a pink suede Bottega Veneta shirt, paired with navy-and-white knit cargo pants and a colorful Supreme beanie. He completed the look with pink Timberlands and carried an energy drink.
As the game progressed, Taylor cheered from the stands, hugging basketball star Caitlin Clark after Travis caught a touchdown in the fourth quarter. She was also spotted celebrating with Travis’s dad, Ed Kelce, showing her support for her boyfriend in full force.
The couple’s public displays of affection are becoming more frequent, and it’s clear their bond continues to grow stronger both on and off the field.
