After a 100-day Instagram hiatus, Taylor Swift is back—and she’s here to shower love on Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s new album!
On March 22, the 14-time Grammy winner broke her social media silence to hype up I Said I Love You First, the latest project from her longtime bestie Gomez and her fiancé, Blanco.
“@selenagomez & @itsbennyblanco I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH. OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD,” Swift, 35, gushed on her Instagram Stories, linking to the album Gomez, 32, and Blanco, 37, released just a day earlier.
While Swift’s return thrilled fans, Gomez and Blanco had already been making waves with their album promo. In a March 19 interview for Spotify’s Countdown To series, Gomez shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes story about bringing Blanco to a Taylor Swift party—only to realize they had made a major social faux pas.
“As a couple, we went to Taylor’s party after some awards show,” Gomez recalled, laughing. “But we got there on time, which apparently isn’t cool. I was mortified!”
Blanco chimed in with a playful jab, saying, “We’re always the first people at parties. You show up like my mom.”
The producer also made a surprising confession last week on Hot Ones: he wasn’t a true Swiftie until Gomez introduced him to more of her music!
“I honestly didn’t know much before we started dating,” Blanco admitted. “But now, I’m in the car singing Taylor Swift songs from 10 years ago—her music is timeless!”
Swift has been a vocal supporter of Gomez’s romance with Blanco, even playfully offering to be the couple’s flower girl when they announced their engagement in December 2024.
Now, with I Said I Love You First out in the world, Swift is making sure everyone knows just how much she approves.
