Snoop Dogg’S Priceless Reaction To Wiz Khalifa Getting His Sons High First

by Coco

Turns out, Snoop Dogg wasn’t the first one to get his own kids high — and his reaction? Absolutely hilarious.

In a recent chat with SiriusXM’s DJ Whoo Kid, rapper Wiz Khalifa spilled a surprising behind-the-scenes story from back in 2012 while filming Mac & Devin Go to High School. During one break, Snoop’s sons, Corde and Cordell (then around 18 and 15), ended up in a trailer with Wiz — and things got very chill.

“We were shooting High School, the movie, and [Snoop] was out of the trailer doing his part,” Wiz, now 37, said. “And he came back in the trailer and was like, ‘Y’all little motherf—ers is high!’”

Wiz just assumed it was no big deal. After all, they are Snoop Dogg’s kids.

“I thought they had already smoked, though!” he laughed. “I’m like, ‘These are Snoop’s kids, of course they smoke!’ They got high with me first. Crazy.”

Honestly, if anyone’s going to have a laid-back attitude about this, it’s Snoop — but we can only imagine the look on his face.

This wasn’t the only moment where Wiz kept it real. When it comes to raising his own son, Sebastian, 12 (who he shares with ex-wife Amber Rose), Wiz says he stays true to himself — even when it comes to parent-teacher meetings.

“Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it,” he said during a January 2024 episode of Call Her Daddy. “They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day when you’re considered a bad parent if you smoke weed.”

He even joked that his son probably smells like weed, too. “I don’t know because I can’t smell it, but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot.”

Wiz explained it’s all about being real: “I want them to connect with the real me. They’re not going to get a fake version of me or this made-up parent that society makes you think that you’re supposed to be. I am who I am.”

Wiz has been busy outside of parenting and storytelling, too. Just this weekend, he dropped his newest album, Kush + Orange Juice 2 — a follow-up to his 2010 fan-favorite Kush & Orange Juice.

“Initially, I told people I wasn’t into doing a sequel,” he shared with Grammy.com. “But then I thought, what would be most satisfying for the fans? Should I start over and do something brand new or recreate something they already love?”

Looks like nostalgia won — and the fans are loving it.
