Looks like JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs have called it quits — and it wasn’t pretty.
Kath Ebbs shared in a TikTok video on Saturday, April 26, that JoJo, 21, broke up with them right after the Celebrity Big Brother UK afterparty. And it happened just as JoJo seemed to be getting close to another costar, Chris Hughes.
“I flew across the world to support and be there and hold that person in whatever they would be experiencing, leaving such a wild experience, and instead, I was dumped at the afterparty, with Chris [Hughes] in the next room,” Ebbs said.
Ebbs added, “I was told that there are confused feelings there … and that she had realized in the house that I wasn’t the person that [she] wanted to spend the foreseeable future with. Which has honestly been … so shocking, that I feel kind of subhuman right now. I feel incredibly humiliated and I feel a bit embarrassed.”
A rep for JoJo didn’t answer right away when asked for a comment.
Kath Ebbs, who uses they/them pronouns, said they started dating JoJo a few months ago and even went Instagram official in January. Things seemed serious!
Ebbs shared that JoJo would send them sweet messages during the show and made lots of big promises. “I was love bombed,” Ebbs said, adding JoJo told them, “I’m the love of someone’s life” and even talked about getting married.
But after Big Brother filming, things changed. “[Siwa] told me a lot of big things and reassured me ‘til the cows come home, [but] has decided that they don’t want to be with me and they wanna explore independence and explore certain feelings,” Ebbs explained.
Fans noticed JoJo getting pretty close to Chris Hughes during Big Brother. They were seen cuddling, holding hands, and Chris even kissed her on the forehead.
According to Ebbs, what viewers saw was real. “Everything you saw transpire, including the emotional cheating, the over crossing of boundaries, the questioning [of our relationship] was not fabricated,” they said.
Ebbs also said, “It took that person less than an hour to follow through,” hinting that JoJo moved on quickly. As for Chris, Ebbs kept it classy, saying, “In terms of Mr. Christopher, I don’t know. I have opinions, [but] I’m not gonna say them now.”
Even though Ebbs said this breakup was “pretty brutal,” they ended their video by saying, “I don’t know what the future of this situation holds.”
Chris Hughes also talked about his friendship with JoJo. He said they were just having fun in the house.
“We’re just messing around — we’re being kids. She was someone I can have fun with,” Chris told E! News. “From a friendship point of view, yeah, of course I love her. She made me feel like I was at home and forget we were even filming a TV show.”
JoJo also had nice things to say about Chris during the show. She called him a “one-of-a-kind gentleman” and said, “Christopher, the love that I’ve gained for you in this building is insane. I really, really believe you are a vital part of my life that I didn’t know I was missing.”
