In a move that surprised no one, just two weeks after leaving the White House, Joe Biden has signed with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Known for its roster of A-list talent, the Los Angeles-based agency has previously represented the former president from 2017 to 2020.
This time, Biden’s partnership with CAA is seen as another step in his post-presidency career. The agency, which also represents Barack and Michelle Obama, took to Instagram to share their excitement about reuniting with Biden. Richard Lovett, CAA’s co-chairman, praised Biden’s lifelong commitment to public service, calling it a source of “unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility.”
During Biden’s previous time with CAA, he published Promise Me, Dad, a heartfelt memoir about his son Beau’s battle with cancer, and toured the country promoting the book.
CAA also works with other prominent Democrats, such as the Obamas’ Higher Ground Productions, former West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, and former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke, showing its deep ties in political circles. Looks like Biden’s next chapter in the spotlight is well underway!
